This particular shirt with the heat pressed flock numbers were only used during the 1979/80 season.

These shirts were used multiple times throughout the season so signs of match use are to be expected.

Just to clarify the authenticity. The number on this particular shirt was issued to many clubs with Umbro playing kit. This number type wasn’t fit for purpose and deteriorated quite quickly. Some clubs decided to resort to the previous seasons cotton number and had them stitched over the flock version (see pics) other clubs changed the number completely to a more modified version containing a coloured border. Also attached in pics is an Aston Villa version from 1980.
